One of the oldest mountain villages in the country, which goes back to at least
the early 6th century A.D. From its high vantage point there is a unique view of the rugged
Qadisha gorge below. A rough secondary road begins at the town center and winds through
a wild mountain landscape, passing the cedar forest of Hadath el-Jebbe. |
