After the snow has melted, the eye capturing rock formations of Faqra
come into full view. Known for its temples, skiing location and
natural bridge (see photo), Faqra attracts tourists and visitors
all year round.
The temples of Qalaat Faqra at 1,550 meters are the most extensive Roman ruins of all Mount
Lebanon, where a summer cultural festival is held.
